About

Ever since I was young I wanted to be a scientist.  I wanted to have a lab and do my own experiments .  I started experimenting with hydroponics earlier this year and quickly became addicted or obsessed as my wife would say . It started in my office closet and quickly grew too large ( and WAY too hot ) for that area.  I decided to try to move the “experiment ” to my shed.  The only problem with this is that I had just converted the shed to a wood shop.  Long story short I have fully converted the wood shop to a large grow room for hydroponics.  My hobbies tend to change quickly as I become bored.  I can honestly say this hobby will never  become boring.  I have had some success but mostly failure at this point.  I have been posting to Facebook about my experiment so much I decided to create a website so I could just share what is happening from a central location .  The purpose of this site is to document my results ( good , bad or ugly ) and collaborate with others to produce as much as possible within the confines of a normal back yard shed.  I have researched a lot of techniques on the web and I will provide the links on the site also. Most of what I have learned is hard to apply exactly to my layout.  I have taken my research and tweaked it to fit my needs.  I hope to share what I have learned , but more importantly learn from others.
